Overview
The series of static phase advancers is an on-site reactive power compensation device specially developed by our company for high-power three-phase wound asynchronous motors. It is connected in series to the rotor circuit of the motor to Improve the power factor of the motor, reduce the stator current, and reduce the losses of the motor and transmission lines, thereby achieving the purpose of energy saving and consumption reduction. It is widely used in large and medium-sized wire-type asynchronous motors in industries such as building materials, chemicals, fertilizers, papermaking, pharmaceuticals, and metallurgy.
Basic Principle
The series of static phase advancers is developed based on the principle that the rotor circuit of a tensioned motor is connected in series with capacitive voltage, which can reduce the reactive power of the motor and reduce the stator current. The alternating-frequency main circuit composed of a thyristor, after the sampling circuit detects the zero-crossing signal generated by the motor rotor current, uses advanced microcomputer control technology to control the main circuit and converts the AC voltage to the same frequency as the rotor and a phase lag behind the rotor. The compensation voltage of the current degree achieves the purpose of improving the motor power factor.
